Hey Mauleo I have Aphantasia as well. I figured that out in my teens, but just learned the name for the condition a few years ago. Apparently we're part of an 8% minority, which surprised me, although I am just as surprised that someone so obviously visually talented as you should have it as well. It's difficult to realize what's missing when you've never experienced it, but the most frustrating part for me was an inability to visualize my fantasies ... but now I have you for that lol. By the way, as to a more recent post, I would be most disappointed if you used AI rather than your skillful hand for your images. Thanks for Herc!! He's the best!

True Aphantasia is only around 1%. Disadvantages are: Unable to receive Hypnotherapy. Lack of visual memories.
Most people lack imagination, not the same as unable to visualize.
"Ai image generators" are perfect for people with Aphantasia that have many ideas and thoughts trapped in their mind craving to be released.
If you have Aphantasia, you should be excited about Ai tools, like I do. Not the other way around, think of the possibilities for creative people to create more and faster in the future.
Ai tools are not ready to help create my comics for me yet. But hopefully in the near future.
For my part, I'll pick the "gray" apple.
