I would've thought it would be much more profitable that way, since you satisfied more people....and created a scenario that many of your fans had been wanting. But maybe not. I purchased both and was very happy to pay more to have the options.
Unfortunately, I don't have the money to commission anyone, nor an account set up to do so. So I guess I'm out of luck then. I was really hoping for some more Altered Beast Bara, since there isn't that much stuff out there.

You first say you have no money, now you have money for commission? Please make up your mind. I'm not accepting any commissions for time being. However, you can find many young talented artist on the Internet. Many of them will offer 5~10 usd commissions for a simple sketch.

Let's say I do want to commission you for an Altered Beast draw, that's full body and in color. How much would it cost?
