What I've been up to lately

Sorry, I haven't reply to a lot of messages and e-mails lately.

  I'm building a 3D model of Hercules.
Learning along the way as I build it, the arms and hands are actually still in separate pieces,
I just overlap them together to see how it would look like,
If this works out right, I'm probably going to use 3D softwares to create comics in the future.

You know I am a huge fan of yours, and I know that technology is something that exists to make our lives easier, but I REALLY urge you to consider the idea of at least keeping drawn versions of your amazing work avaiable for us.

It's not that I don't appreciate your attempt to keep up with other excellent artists who have gone from drawn into 3D modelling.

I can only imagine the amount of hard work that your drawings require from you, and I would never disqualify 3D animation and its tremendous potential, but frankly, nowadays, the traditional comic is losing space, but not because of just reasons.

I personally prefer human art over computer style any time of the day, but it's not the point. I don't want to impose anything over you, after all you are free to do as you please.

You are talented and gifted, I am sure your art will be amazing in any media, but I just want to remind you that you have already conquered us with your amazing drawing skills that are so easily noticeable in your artwork.

I may be a stupid romantic, but I really would hope that at least some of NEW drawn artwork resisted, I am sure that its quality and sincerity will prove me right on this point: as much as technology advances, nothing will replace the passion of the artist, and we want you MauLeo, not just puppets and scenes, we want your passionate art and your talent, with all qualities and imperfections that being a human provides, this is what truly made you the artist you are today.

Sorry if I sounded like some reactionary imbecile, these were just my utmost sincere feelings, I really wish you all best and lots of success in all your projects!

    Yours truly

    Bruno

    1. I understand your concerns,

But I think a 3D application is just a tool.
Remember it's human that creates the art not the software.

Thank you very much for your suggestion and opinion.
